Welcome to my blog!  My name is Courtney Snailum.  I am a happily married mother of four – three by birth and one by God’s crazy, amazing, divine plan.  My family and I are from the Pacific Northwest, but most recently reside just outside of Austin, TX.  As a parent to four teenagers, I find myself in a season of desperately trying to hang on to each moment – and child – before I blink and they’ve all flown off into the world.

courtney author bioOur family is a loud and rowdy group of worship leading, church planting, PK (Pastor’s kids), musicians whose lives revolve around two things: Jesus and laughter.  While our journey of following Christ has taken us through some incredible hardships, the joy of the Lord has been our strength.

My hobbies are singing, writing, Star Trek fan-girling, coffee, and Krav Maga.

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog, Courtney. I quickly read through your story about your son Samuel (will read deeper later 🙂 My friends have an adult son with autism and, despite serious limitations, Ken is one of the most loving and faith-filled people I know. Your son is a gift; treasure him for he will bless you and others and bring great glory to his Heavenly Father.

  2. Courtney,
I just read your blog article 2 Years and Counting. Thank you for posting that. It tells of a glorious God whom I have the privilege of serving. My thoughts and heart focus on me so much of the time–my successes, but mostly failures. How I need to instead focus on HIM. Thank you for the chance to read a portion of your testimony to how awesome He is.
